Faustina Nieves was born on February 15th, 1879 in Los Sauces. Faustina Nieves' father was Jose Sicilia Alonso and her mother was Nieves Martin Machin. Her paternal grandparents were Jose Sicilia Senuto and Maria Alonso Fuentes; her maternal grandparents were Domingo de Montserrat Martin Perez and Manuela Antonia Machin Herrera. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Antonio Santo Domingo, Domingo Leandro, Jose, Emilio, David, Antonio, Maria Dolores, Maria Nieves and Juana del Sacramento.-
