Marcelo was born on January 16th, 1924 in Los Sauces.1 Marcelo's father was Hipolito Juan Herrera Concepcion and his mother was Carmen Hernandez Fernandez. His paternal grandparents were Jose Antonio Herrera Perez and Maria Nieves Concepcion Rodriguez. He has two brothers named Juan and Antonio. He is the oldest of the three children.General Notes
